Printed Circuit Board

INTECTIV has been the largest manufacturer of printed circuit boards in Slovenia since 1973. Its strategy includes both a concern for the quality of its products and a concern for a healthy environment. To this end, we obtained ISO 9001 quality management system certification in 1997 and ISO 14001 environmental management system certification in 2007.

In year 2024  we have acquired certicate EN 9100:2018 (technically equivalent to AS9100D and JISQ9100:2016) – Quality Management Systems – Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Organizations.

The company is UL certified ( UL number E79481 ), according to UL 796 ( standard for PCBs ) and UL 94 ( standard for flammability testing ). The UL certification assures our customers of the quality and safety of the product!

We have our own in-house chemistry laboratory, but we also use external certified providers for certain analyses. According to customer requirements, our physical laboratory can check the physical and dimensional properties of the panels and produce various reports.

The traceability of all company processes is documented and ensured through a quality system.

For 50 years, our company has been dedicated to following the main strategies of continuous improvement, product quality, and a clean environment. Through innovative solutions, we set new standards and push the boundaries of what is possible, fostering progress in the electronics and electrical industries both domestically and internationally.
We provide reliable support to our customers and strive to meet their growing demands through ongoing advancements in quality. With our knowledge, flexibility, efficiency, and investment in development, we aim to attain a leading position in the European market. Our specialization lies in the production of prototype and multi-layer printed circuit boards manufactured to the highest standards for the aerospace industry. Through these efforts, we actively contribute to the advancement of European astronautics.

The company’s environmental management system covers the overall management of the environmental aspects of production. It covers pollution prevention, responding to stakeholder expectations and requirements, meeting environmental legal requirements and other environmental requirements to which we have agreed.

ISO 14001 also effectively manages environmental risks and opportunities.

Production processes are optimised to save water and energy. Cooling water is collected and reused later in production. Waste water and copper chemical bath concentrates are purified of environmentally harmful EDTA components. Waste concentrates containing dissolved photoresist and photoresist coverings are treated in a special treatment plant. The harmful organic substances that are separated in this process are sent for incineration. The main treatment plant uses a sulphide precipitation process for heavy metals, which ensures that the residual concentration of heavy metals in the effluent is significantly lower than the legal limit. The waste electroplating sludge produced as a by-product of water treatment is sent for metallurgical treatment. The metals from the electroplating sludge can be reused and do not pollute the environment. The air exhausted from the machines and electroplating lines from production is cleaned of harmful chemicals in a sentral exhaust air purification system so that the exhausted air does not pollute the environment.

When planning and implementing production processes, we aim to minimise energy and water consumption.

We have a Waste Management Plan to reduce waste and its impact on the environment. Waste is managed by type, quantity and source. The Waste Management Plan includes existing and planned technical, organisational and other measures to minimise waste generation and adverse impacts on the environment and human health.

The manufacturing processes and materials are in compliance with the UL Directive (UL No.E79481). The UL Directive is monitored by inspection and testing in their authorised laboratories. Our products and manufacturing processes are also compliant with the European RoHS and REACH directives.

When we introduce new processes and technologies, we replace hazardous chemicals and production processes with safer and less harmful ones.

We have paperless operations in place to take care of the environment and waste.
